Champions of the STA Fall Kickoff Tournament! August 28-30, 2015
My first tournament with my new team, Rio Red.
The next day, we hosted a pool and pizza party for the team. What a great start to the season!
Goal and Hat Trick in NPL League Debut! Rio v. Princeton, Sept. 12, 2015
We played two games against Princeton for the season opener. I scored a goal in the first game, and a hat trick in the second! We won both games.
Goal in 2-0 Victory against NY Soccer Club, Sept. 26, 2015
Crazy how the first shot hit the cross-bar and bounced just outside the goal, and then my volley ALSO hit the crossbar but bounced just inside the goal. A lot of bouncing on the way to a goal!

Great teamwork on this one! We each have nice moves and passes. This one required some physicality to get in position for the goal because the defender is pressing me on the approach. Fortunately, when the keeper bobbles my teammate's shot, I'm in position to pop the ball up into the net!

We tied against Copa with my first goal on the video. Then we won the next two games. The P-K (last goal on the video) was really fun.

My header in this game may be my all time favorite goal! Look closely at the third goal, in slo-mo. Did I score a goal here, or was it already over the line? Either way, it counted as a goal for our team!
Goal Called Offsides - Rio v Manhattan, October 25, 2015
This goal unfortunately was called offsides, but as the video shows, I was actually onsides when my teammate last touched the ball. Coach said it was great timing and turn & go goal. :-)
